Do I need a referral? No. You can book directly with us, online or by phone.
Does it hurt? No. Our contacts are quite light and brief, and most people find the session relaxing. Tell us if anything is uncomfortable and we'll adjust straight away.
Will you use more forceful adjustments? Generally no, most of our care doesn't involve them. Some people prefer stronger manual adjustments, and for those people we're happy to provide that care. Most people who see us love the results they get with the gentler work, and we don't use any manual adjustments with them. If we think a particular technique is indicated in your care, we'll discuss it with you, and you get to choose.
Do I need X-rays? Not routinely. We'll only refer you for imaging if your history or examination suggests it's needed.
How many visits will I need? Everyone is different and the care we provide is tailored specifically to you. The number of visits you'll need depends largely on how severe and how chronic your problem is. Our first visit includes a thorough assessment and we'll be honest about what we think is best for you. This initial visit can be booked online or over the phone.
What should I wear? Comfortable clothing. You stay fully clothed.
How long is a visit? Our first visit is a 1 hour appointment, and includes a full history and assessment to find out exactly how we can best help. Regular visits last around 15 minutes.
Can I claim with my health fund? Yes, chiropractic care is generally covered by private health funds, though we recommend you check with your fund. We supply invoices for you to lodge your claim.
